5 Suggestions Snooki should follow
Snooki eats a cookie diet
Have you seen this train-wreck of a show on Mtv called “Jersey Shore”? If not, picture a bunch of twenty-somethings from New Jersey shacking up in a house on the shore.
We were all young once. Some more recently than others. Now imagine what you were doing at that age. Looking back, would you want your antics glamorized and televised for posterity? I know I don’t.
A few of the kids on the show are trying to set themselves up for something after the show. After all, how long can it possibly go on? You’ll ask yourself this same question as you watch.
Nicole Polizzi, aka “Snooki”, is no exception. This young lady found out what night after night of drinking and eating whatever crosses the table will do-namely add the poundage. At this point, you might expect her to follow a strict diet and exercise plan. Remember, she has a budding career to groom.
Instead, she becomes the spokeswoman for what is in my opinion the worst diet fad to hit the streets in years-the cookie diet.
I remember watching the first ad for the cookie diet. I thought of two things. First, you have GOT to be kidding me. And second, the douche that thought of this is gonna make millions. I’ve got dibs on the cake & ice cream diet idea.
PhitZone’s advice to Snooki
- Do some research. Start by reading PhitZone. There are some other great blogs out there. Take a look. You’re likely to find them.
- Avoid the shortcuts. They never work. Sure, you may see some results at first. They will be short lived.
- Eat clean. I love pizza as much as the next guy. Keep it to a minimum. Make smart choices so that your body doesn’t revolt.
- Limit the alcohol. Aside from the hangovers, alcoholism, etc., think about what it’s doing to your body. It’s promoting bad eating habits, and causing your body to store the sugar in the alcohol as fat. As a bonus, it mucks up the metabolism.
- Work that body. When you’re living on the shore, there has to be a gym or two around. Go for a run on the boardwalk. Anything. Just start exercising.
Here’s a bonus bullet point-respect yourself. Take the time to take care of yourself. Your body, mind and self-esteem all need to be in shape.

@Mari To the tune of “We Did it All for the Nookie”? That’s what I’ve had bouncing around in my head today. LOL
@Tim I told Becca that I felt like I slipped a few IQ points too.

Okay, that’s just hilarious. I just found out who she was the other day. That is the dumbest show ever.

Anyone else remember the Carvel cake character, CookiePuss? They could make a new one called Snookie Puss — probably out of orange sherbet. I thought the mantra of this Jersey Shore (but actually from Long Island) group was”GTL” – Gym, Tan, Laundry.

@Julie If it’s not the dumbest, it’s a close second. Afterall, there are a number of shows on tv that rank up there. My current “indulgence” is Halfpint Brawlers. It’s just all kinds of wrong, but damn it, I get a kick out of how hard these guys work at what they do.
